Just over 4 years ago I finally figured out what my core fear was concerning having and keeping a loving, healed and healing intimate marriage. The light went on, so to speak, and ever since not only have I acquired a fresh, new mindset to live my life from, but what I share with others assists them in uncovering their barriers to experiencing love as well.

We are raised with so many contradictory messages about what a relationship is. Most of these messages arise from our dysfunctional family lives and TV and from deeply unconscious levels. But these days, in far greater numbers than in the past, people are seeking for meaningful connections, spiritual healing, hope, and freedom from the shackles of their minds. Luckily, the answers are within. It's not about being better than everyone else, having the right background, career or college education, circulating with the right people, speed dating or being a part of the perfect online dating community. The Law of Attraction is a wonderful tool for positive manifestation in your life.

"God's will for me is perfect happiness" This is a workbook lesson from "A Course in Miracles." Sometimes I think spiritual people don't think it is perfectly natural to have desires, goals and aspirations. That's our innate creative impulse. Made in the image and likeness, it is natural to have the urge to expand and manifest our desires in ways that are fulfilling to you. Being brought together in relationships is one of the ways we create, heal, and remember who we are. At times I have found my marriage to be the base for joyous personal growth, the mirror for my tender ego and chance to deeply let go and allow God in. It is all those things and so much more.

If having an intimate, lasting love relationship is something that makes your heart sing, and once you truly understand that God desires for you to be wonderfully fulfilled, creatively motivated, healed and joyous, the only issue question remaining is "Why do you imagine you have not been successful?" The simple answer is fear. Fear manifests in quite a few different disguises, justifications, and excuses. In the end, we fear knowing ourselves as the eternal love that we are. You can manifest wonderful Law of Attraction Relationships when you release yourself from fear and bondage.

It is not un-spiritual to desire love, sex, fun, intimacy, laughter, and play. It is un-spiritual to hide your creativity and your talent. I understand about fear, I was one of the most resisting people I knew in the area of truly allowing my guard down. If you want to share your life in perfect partnership you have to reclaim your power, take one hundred percent responsibility for your messes and ask for Spirit to drive. Clearly what you have been doing has not worked very well for you. Einstein said, "No problem can be fixed from the exact level of consciousness that manifested it". You must take yourself to a higher level. Thankfully we have support groups, trained professionals, counselors, coaches and even home study courses to assist us in seeing what's in the way of building lasting loving relationships.

A loving, fulfilled intimate relationship is possible for anyone who wants it. Will it always be perfect? No. The ego would not ever let you off the hook that easily.
